Hey there team,
What a year! In 2020-2021, we had limited in-person interactions with some (or all) of our students, a complete change in the “how” of teaching and learning, and an inability to focus on ANY type of professional development that didn’t include the words “virtual education”.
But…that was then and this is now! It’s time to get back to exploring the practices for supporting all students in our diverse classrooms and that includes celebrating and enhancing our co-teaching practices!
In August and September of 2021, I am launching a professional development KICK OFF EVENT to get us all back into the game of collaboration, co-planning, co-visioning, and, of course, co-teaching.
This opportunity is for all team members, including administrators & coaches who support teams, experienced teams looking for inspiration, and teachers in new partnerships. No matter your role, this material can help you to craft a new game plan and get excited about collaborating and connecting with students.
I have gathered an all-star team of administrators, co-teachers, coaches, and experts to guide you through these topics and many more! This one-of-a-kind asynchronous professional development experience is designed to elevate your co-teaching teams using guidance from those who have “been there, done that” and lots of content from 30 Days to the Co-Taught Classroom: How to Create an Amazing, Nearly Miraculous & Frankly Earth-Shattering Partnership in One Month or Less.
This content is for YOU if your co-teaching team could use help:
- communicating about your relationship/work with families;
- planning more effectively and efficiently;
- learning the best ways to share roles and responsibilities;
- finding joy and FUN in your work and co-teaching relationships;
- limiting the tired “one teach-one assist” support model; and
- learning dozens of ways to use familiar structures.
The sessions will focus on this material and MORE. This event features more than 10 sessions ranging in length from 20 minutes to 75+ minutes so you will have some content that can be used for different purposes (e.g., lunchtime meetings, traditional after-school PD sessions). All of the material will be available for a two-month period so you will have plenty of time to watch the sessions most relevant for your group (or even all of them if you love co-teaching or just cannot pass up all that a great kick-off event can provide)!
The sessions are 100% asynchronous. You can watch when it is convenient for you and you can even "instantly replay” the pieces that will be most beneficial for you and your co-teaching partner (sorry, I can’t seem to stop with the football analogies once I get started—LOL).
This event is priced at $89 for individuals, but you can contact us for discounts on groups of 20+ and 150+ or for district-level pricing.
